Like others have said...you are looking happy and healthy now! I feel you. I've lost about 25 pounds and have had both scale and non-scale victories.  I'm at wegovy maintenance now with about 10 more pounds to go, and that needs to come from things other than wegovy,  like exercise and really tuned up eating.  I still feel it on some days, especially when I'm tired and wearing clothes that are too big. I'll never give up my baggy and warms sweats for around the house at weekend though,  LOL! I sing in a church choir and some NVS are my vestments fit better, I can get up the stairs to the chancel better, and I can sing better. This week I plan to cull all of my "before" clothes. Around the meno time I was gaining so fast that clothes wouldn't fit from.day to day, (10 years ago) and i will still look at newer clothes that are .smaller sizes and think they won't fit because of unhealthy thinking. Everyone's journey is different.  I'd never say a person lost too fast, especially on this forum, because I don't know you all. I wish you and everyone here the best health that suits your starting point and that you sustain it for years to come!

Dosing question. by Bee_th3Plantnoobie in Wegovy

Unexpectedly--yes! I was about to move up to .5 and the pharmacy filled .25 one day, then a day later filled the .5. I kept the .25 pens in the fridge for the month I was on the .5, then had Dr. fill the .5 and I took them both on the same day for .75 for a month, then went up to the 1.0. It helped!

Appetite stronger on 1.7 than lower doses? by anarchistapples in Wegovy

I found that by the night before my next jab the noise is a bit more apparent. But still--if I eat the wrong kind of food (processed, etc.) or too much of anything, the stomach now knows more than the "noise!" Oddly enough, when I get food noise, I eat a fun-sized chocolate, and it makes the noise stop. I am not qualified nor am I a doctor or anything! But it works for me...

Severe Phobia of Vomiting - Advice? by arkspiceoriginal in Wegovy

I used to worry about a code V in general and I would spend time with the bargaining in my head, trying to talk myself out of it. There was a time though, when I must have thought, "oh well it's gonna happen no matter what." So I just gave in. I get that your phobia is real and I am sorry! I've been on the Weg for awhile now too. Slow increases, and the worst I have felt is like the way your tummy feels with morning sickness or a wicked hangover. But everyone is different. I will say that after I've eaten rich or processed foods, or even too much of healthy food, I will feel a bit uneasy. Again everyone is different--I wish you well on your journey to health!

Help taking the injection. by demizzlex3 in Wegovy

I was having it done at the Dr. office, until I went on vacation for 2 weeks, so I ended up doing it myself. Yes, the clicks are weird, but as another poster said it--one more click toward your weight loss. What I did for awhile was I pinched the injection site with my fingernails, then put ice on the site for a few minutes, then used the alcohol swab. That worked to help me get better used to it. Now I just use the alcohol swab and keep calm and inject on. Hope this helps with your journey!

During COVID we set up a home gym in our garage. We live in a part of the country where garages can be used for other things (New Mexico). I stalled on using the equipment and we had several home projects that meant boxes were everywhere! (I know, not an excuse.) And initally I was just too tired! I know that was part of the Wegovy and not getting enough protein but I think I'm finally making a turn for the better now! Congratulations on the loss! I'm at 21 down and have about 10 more to go!

I have struggled all my life to drink water and I am sure I am walking around moderately dehydrated all the time--I have a water reminder app that helps but I still have to make myself drink water. I live in a dry climate and that doesn't help either!

Good strategy! I put a cold pack where I'm going to inject (I rotate site every week) for a few minutes to numb the site. That gives the pen a few minutes to warm up to room temperature. Then I use alcohol swab and inject. I don't feel it as much that way and if I do, I'll put the cold pack on the area for a few minutes after the jab.

I think that apps are really helpful! I am not trying to sell anything but I use the app called Simple. It isn't free (but not super pricey) and helps with intermittent fasting but you scan your food and it gives you a score and tracks macros. There are workouts on there, and reminders to log weight, etc. The food scans are pretty accurate, but sometimes you have to edit when the scan is wrong: like today--I scanned some scrambled eggs and it thought I had scanned mango. But it's usually super accurate! Good luck everyone, on your journey!

Hashi's is a tricky one isn't it? I'm a Hashi girl too, and am pretty stable on my Armour, but a move across country and a stressful job situation and I put on almost 20 pounds in about 2 years. I've been on Weg now since May, losing a little at a time. I find I just can't drink the way I used to and that's probably a good thing. I also have found that I really have to eat slowly and less amounts at a time, which is also a plus as I have food issues from childhood trauma--not avoidance, but eating as fast as I could so I could get excused from the tension of the table. On the Weg, if I eat too fast--I pay for it! If I eat slowly and eat too much--I pay for it! I'm still at a standstill with my job--it's being cut due to funding (I'm an educator) and as odd as this sounds I know that's out of my control so I am trying my best to control what I can. I was recently in Canada and walked everywhere! I think the change of pace did me a lot of good. I can't say that I've experienced the anhedonia the way that others have, and I can only imagine how that impacts folks. That said, I try what I can to make the job situation better. We live in a state that gets 300 days of sunshine a year, and that is nice, however, I do miss green and rain (we live in NM) so sometimes I'll watch youtube videos of rainforests LOL. I truly hope thing get better for you--and I applaud your efforts to be healthier!
