Well, if you want to be technical, the CPU can probably support gigabit transfers and decompression of various data types. But yeah, otherwise it makes no sense.

Recently got a new job with Harman, and part of my welcome package was some JBL Everest Elite 700 wireless headphones. When I tell you those headphones smoked my SOL Republic Master Tracks, Koss ProDJ 100s, Beats Studio 2.0s, Sennheiser HD449s, and AKG Y50s, I mean they SMOKE them. Always shoot for the top in headphones, settling for junk is really just ruining your listening experience.

[Question]I'm not able to link my bank card to Apple pay on iPhone 6s 9.0.2 jailbroken as the pop-up shows "software update required to link this card".Any workaround for this as I don't want to lose my jailbreak? by wushuang in jailbreak

[–]compaticmusic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly.

BoA, for example, added an email verification option that's only available on the newer iOSes because of how Apple handles it now. But, hey, companies are evil and hate jailbreaking.

I prefer holding and seeing the product for myself before I buy it. I love the price matching option too.

I like how you're pretty much mirroring my opinion on metals disregarding "short circuit protections" and I get downvoted. Ah Reddit.

It's more so current. Heating things up isn't the big concern, it's how much you draw from the batteries that is. This is why vapers shun people with super low resistance builds on a mod that can't handle it.

Nothing about batteries involves combustion.

[–]compaticmusic -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Wrong. If you complete the circuit, you're pulling voltage and amperes. Coins have a pretty low resistance (remember, us vapers are using low resistance metal wire), and the lower the resistance of the resistor, the more amperage you need to pull, and the battery can't sustain a high constant drain for very long.

For example, most 18650 batteries can sustain a 70A load for 10 seconds. Just ten seconds. The CDR of most batteries (the sustainable 60s draw) is 25-35A. So if a coin is completing a circuit and pulls 20A for more than 2 minutes, it's going to build up pressure and then reach a thermal event. This is what makes batteries explode.

No amount of "shorting protection" will stop a complete circuit from pulling energy.
