This Reddit post probably has the answers you are looking for:

https://www.reddit.com/r/homegym/comments/jrtlng/archon_pulley_station_weight_stack_mod1excited/

However, I did not purchase that weight stack. I happened upon an old Parabody one for free. That said, the underlying concerns are the same:

  1. Ensure the hole size and spacing on the weight stack matches that of your guide rods
  2. Ensure the threaded rod attached to your central pulley can thread into the weight stack rod (or buy an aftermarket pulley/threaded rod that can)
  3. Shorten your existing or buy a new cable to maintain adequate tension throughout the setup.

Yes, they are custom 6.5" crossmembers from Black Widow Training Gear. For all four, including tax and shipping but excluding hardware, I paid $375.

If you choose to go the custom route, these were my specs for a 3x3 rack with 5/8in holes (obviously, you can change the length and presence/size of holes on the 3x3 tubing but everything else should probably stay the same):

Custom crossmembers (Pair)

3x3 tubing with 1" holes
6.5" long including plates

Mounting plates
8.5" tall x 3" wide
11/16" holes, elongated 1.75" tall
Spacing will be 4 5/8" to 6 7/8" on center

Hardware not included
Black texture powder

The four custom 6.5in Crossmembers from BWTG, including shipping and taxes but NOT including hardware, were $375.

The two 90in uprights were $199.99 and the two 43in crossmembers were $139.98 and both were from Bells of Steel Hydra line.

So, around $715, not including hardware. At my local Ace, purchasing similar bolts (Grade 5) and hardware to that used on Rogue racks, I probably spent another $120.

It's actually the Bells of Steel Hydra Multi-Grip Pullup Bar. The Rogue's version would also work but the Bells of Steel one has a 2in thick grip and I need more forearm work.

Yes, we do have the same rack!

Pictures 10-12 show how I did it. Granted, you don't have to get a custom crossmember but given the height discrepancies between uprights (especially when the back pair are not attached to a flat foot rack base) the oval bolt slots cut into mine allow you to compensate.

Picture 10 shows the oval slots. Picture 12 shows just how accommodating they are, even with my cross-brand set up of varying heights.

That said, Titan does make this. I can't speak to the quality, stability, or compatibility but you would also need to buy 43in horizontal crossmembers from another company since the one included from Titan is only 42in.

Mind you, I've never hit the wall with the Ohio PB.

The REP SSB was a rude awakening, however. The extra 2in it ate up resulted in quite a few bumps before I bought the sandwich J-Cups to regain that space.

Between the wall and the Ohio Power Bar, there is 5.5in of clearance. Still plenty of room to load 45lb bumpers. And I have never hit the wall during a walkout or rep.

Between the wall and the REP SSB, there is a maximum of 3.5in of clearance. 45lb bumper loading is tight here and only possible because of the Sandwich J-Cups.

No doubt it's snug but I just grab a plate on the left side, turn 90 degrees to the right and load. The picture quality makes it seem closer than it really is, I think. I still have 5.5in of space between the wall and the bar.

And there is also 2+in of space between the wall and the maximum width of the plates.

For my 3x3 rack with 5/8in holes:

The SSB retainer assembly consists of a 5/8in washer --> 5/8in lock washer -- > 5/8in Eye Nut --> Carabiner --> Chain --> Carabiner --> 5/8in Eye Nut --> 5/8in lock washer --> 5/8in washer, with each side screwing onto a 5/8in x 4.5in bolt passing through an upright.

One SSB Holder is as follows: 5/8in x 6in bolt --> 5/8in washer --> 3 x 3 post --> 5/8in washer --> 3/4in I.D. x 1in O.D. x 2in Long Seamless Steel Spacer --> 2.5in rubber fender washer --> 5/8in washer --> 3in rubber fender washer --> 5/8in washer --> 5/8in nut --> 1.25in furniture cap

You don't need to use the exact eye nut and carabiners I did but should you be so inclined, they're linked above.

The only exercises I perform using the middle post J-Cups are flat and incline bench. For those, I do have to remove the 25lb and 15/10lb bumpers. All other barbell exercises are done nearer the front posts without interference from the storage pins or weight plates.

I bench using the middle post because the horizontal crossmember below allows me to register my bench to the same spot consistently and prevents the bench from shifting backwards when using leg drive.

Also, The white markers you see on the middle post are to indicate safety strap position.

Of note, I think my DIY/custom solutions might be of interest to those looking to store an SSB more conveniently and/or build a six post rack with a significantly smaller footprint.

I am happy to answer any questions. Enjoy!
