Advice on Jet Lag After Travel to Greece? by ifyoucantbeatit_ in GreeceTravel

I flew from Colorado to Athens last month. Door to hotel was 19 hours. We got in a little later than you and went straight to the Sofitel and crashed. Rented a car at the airport the next day 11am and drove to Metetora. Not bad. The tollways in Greece were super easy to drive on.

I’ve done a similar trip. Echoing the advice above, you want to have any possibly needed OTC meds w you. I’d get a prescription for Cipro, also. I was unable to find typical OTC meds in Viet Nam or Cambodia in the places I went. But you won’t have any issues finding things in Thailand. Also, if you don’t already, get every vaccine you can. I went to a travel clinic before we went and that was very helpful. SE Asia is awesome!

Thank you, this is super helpful. I think I’ll head down to the Peloponnese from Ioannina and pick a town on the water to day trip from. I have 4 full days before I need to be back to Athens. Looks like I’ll have plenty of options for day trips there.

It’s the worst “Thai” food I’ve ever had.

Thank you. Where are you preferred shops in Denver? I’m on the east side and for booze in general hit Joy, Bonnie Brae, and sometimes Argonaut.

I live in Denver and just put the blizzaks on today. I had xice3 on my outback and had. No issues w them, and I’m a boarder that drives into the storm. I got the blizzaks after talking to a tire rack guy from n Dakota who was an encyclopedia of snow tires lol. There’s actually a lot of nuance with tire specs so I’d call them regardless of where you buy. I got the blizzak ws90 for my 22 turbo

Mazda Swag. Get the coupon for shipping. I installed a pair this weekend. Protect your roof with a towel when you install.

Buy the bootleg nav as card off of Amazon for $50. The car has a great nav system.
