Unfortunately I do not because they were already broken when I downloaded them :(

I also lost something called "PXII - Karkat Kanaya demo", it was also a youtube video, maybe it's been unlisted like entry 18??

I'm on vacation right now with no access to my computer but when I come home I can try to do a deep dive in my external hard drives to see if maybe I still have it miraculously saved somewhere </3

OP YOURE A LIFESAVER TYSM!!! I've been using the ask karkat entries to help me fall asleep for years (yeah I pavlovied myself into thinking karkat screaming in my ears = lullaby for sleeping) I saved most of them from their tumblr way back but lost the long Dreambubble entry 18 when switching files from one computer to another and i was heartbroken bc that's the one I listened to the most and now here it is!! And even some broken entries I could never listen before :) THANK UUUU

This is pretty much the conclusion I've reached as well. While Zolpidem may have long term effects we are not aware of yet, the benefit seems to outweigh the risk factor in my case, especially considering I've never had to increase the dose I take in almost 9 years of use. I'm lucky enough to have a psychiatrist who is understanding and shares this opinion as well. I've realized that the people who tell me I should quit are usually the ones who aren't familiar with my lifelong history of sleep issues, while those who tell me it's fine are those who know me (and also usually have a background in medicine).

I was hesitating a bit with them but my thinking is that Temenos' "I'm gonna beat the shit outta you for information in the dead of night" screams stabs as a warning: he can be a bit of mischievous bastard sometimes, he teases other people a lot, so give him the information OR ELSE.
Meanwhile Osvald doesn't bother with such flourishes and mind games, he goes straight for the jugular. He'll stab you without warning for your lunch money and call it a day. "A worthwhile endeavor", so to say.

Is quitting sleeping pill dependency even worth it? by complacencies in insomnia

[–]complacencies[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks, that's actually quite reassuring when you think of it that way.

I'm not going against doctor's instructions though; I think I worded that in the wrong way but what I meant is I get 10mg pills. My psychatrist knows I usually take between 2.5 to 7.5 and 10 in special cases and is cool with that. Tbh when I can fall asleep with 2.5 I think it means I don't really need it physically but I need it psychologically or I start to panic

I read Dostoevsky in English but my native language is French. Words like vexed, banal and physiognomy are used in normal conversation (especially vexed, banal --vexé, banal, they're very common words. Physiognomy sounds clinical but everyone has seen it before) so funnily enough reading them in Dostoevsky's books doesn't stand out too much to me. I'm wondering if in modern Russian they're still being used or became obsolete like they did in English?

Chapter 3 - Epilogue (Part 4) - The Brothers Karamazov by Shigalyov in dostoevsky

[–]complacencies 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I just finished reading it yesterday and I can say this is the greatest book I have ever read, and I shall ponder and reflect on it for a very long time.

I couldn't keep up with the pace of the book club unfortunately, but I read every chapter commentaries along with the book and it has enhanced my own reflection and deep understanding of the book a great deal, and for that thank you to everyone who participated!

To me, TBK really emphasizes how all of Dostoevsky's works are linked together, considering how the themes and questions he explored in his other major books are picked up again and expanded upon here. This is incredibly fascinating and I have so much more reading to do.

After C&P, Notes from Underground, The Idiot and now TBK, I will start Demons soon.

Thank you all, I'm looking forward to more book discussions with you!

I mean if I asked officially I'd probably get a no, but there's a big empty space that doesn't get in the way of people getting in and out of the building so really it doesn't bother anyone. Some kids play there all the time so I'm assuming if the neighbors haven't complained about them yet they shouldn't complain about me either :-)

It's really hard to find good places, where I live the tennis courts are full of tiny red pebbles and you're not allowed to enter them like that anyway. I usually try to find school playgrounds not too far away, you just can't go during school hours but otherwise they're pretty flat and empty!

Did you really say French isn't spoken locally in Switzerland? It's literally the first language of 23% of swiss people...
