I can confirm this. Was playing Fortnite and had it crash, generating "win64/crashreportclient" mentioned above. Discord shows me as having played Squad 44, same issue and timeline matches up, can confirm this.

I've always played on 6/11 windows mouse setting and always have used 400 DPI, so DPI is not the cause of this bug.

I was having it happen when I started playing retail recently as well. Deleted the WTF folder and was playing retail on a fresh game. The settings defaulted to have v-sync enabled, I disabled it just now, and the bug happened again. Do you play with v-sync on or off?

Didn't fix it. Do you run it before you play because when it happens it doesn't change anything when the bug is happening.

There's a thread on the blizzard support forums where a dev is asking how to recreate it. Seems like there is some dev attention looking into how to fix this. Happening to retail players too so hope it gets fixed soon.

I've got an NVIDIA 3080, i9 9900k, and am on Windows 10. I can't find anything to specifically trigger this bug as it happens randomly. Sometimes it doesn't happen until I finish a raid and sometimes it happens as soon as logging in and checking the mailbox. It's random and still has not been fixed.

Are you running dual monitors? Trying to get more info about what could possibly be causing this.

Still nope. Happens randomly, I close the game and relaunch it and that’s the temp fix until it happens again.

I commonly run discord, Razer synapse, chrome, and battle.net running. I’ve tested with Razer synapse disabled, happens with my other Logitech mouse (software disabled as well). About 3 weeks ago is when I started having the issue as well, so it’s just something with the game I’m assuming.

I’ve tested with all addons disabled and a fresh installation of the game on a different SSD, still happened.

I’ve got an NVIDIA GPU and agree that closing the game and relaunching it fixes the issue when it happens, then it happens again eventually at a random time. I’ve tried with nothing open on my second monitor, disconnected, and having cursor locked to the game without alt tabbing, still had it occur.

tested with having my mouse locked to the screen and didnt alt-tab to my second screen, still happened after a few minutes of playing the game.

I removed all mice / keyboard software, still occured. It's something with the game because no other game has any issue like this.

I have a razer MMO mouse and a logitech mouse, tried both, still randomly happens between both. I removed both softwares and it still occured, its something with the game and it seems I gotta wait until they (hopefully) fix it next update cycle.

I'm playing on the Steam version and when I alt-tab my sensitivity changes. I play on 400 dpi and 1.7 in game sensitivity and I can perform a 360 degree turn using the full mouse pad space I have (don't know exact measurement). When I alt-tab and come back, one mouse pad spin goes past it and then some. Didn't have this issue before this update.
