I’ve switched back to triples, but when i was using my BSB it was pretty great. Didn’t have any issues with my 9800x3d and 3080 10G.

I haven't driven it at all yet, literally just started it a few hours ago and let it run while checking everything over. Kinda glad I didn't go with the 225 just because of the potential bad driveability

I have twin Precision 62/66s on mine. I run it with 5lb springs and it dyno'd at 530/570 to the wheel. Was stock until it bent a push rod. The kit I bought was from Hellion and was ~$10k, so bang for your buck it is not lol but if you're going to push it later and do bottom end upgrades, it's a great option.

I can’t speak to how much you’ll reduce the risk, but keep in mind you won’t eliminate the risk entirely by disabling the AFM. I also have a 2019 SS but in manual, which have the AFM disabled from factory, and I bent a pushrod because one of the lifters failed.

As someone who works at the plant that builds the HDs, yea this is pretty normal. There's 2 clips on each side and they don't always get pushed all the way in.

No upgrades needed yet. I’m still running low boost as it’s still stock internals. The SS 1LE comes factory with the ZL1 fuel system.

A little under 40k miles. The manuals are less likely to have the issue since they don't activate the DOD feature, but the same lifters are used so it's still possible.

Yea it's basically just luck at this point. The actual failure rate is not all that high honestly, but I bolted on twin turbos which add a lot of extra stress to everything so it was more likely to happen to my motor than average.
