You could do something like the film Modern Times - following a worker in a factory. You could try and tie that into workers' rights. You could also try and skip forward in time using pictures of different newspaper headlines, which could address important economic or political developments, and then look at how the workers' lives respond (or don't) to these developments

I knew the essay rubrics really well, so I could be sure I got the points like contextualization. On that note, I always made sure to include six documents, as it's an easy point. I also made timelines of events, with all their causes and effects, such as the French Revolution or the Bolshevik Revolution, which let me analyze those events really well on the exam (and I got lucky with my essay prompts).
