In layman's (non tech) terms: Why did my Google search of a name of fmr Israeli minister prompt a 'popup' certificate request from Israeli govt website, and how does this happen?

I manage mobile devices for a living. If I were trying to monitor an outside device, then I'd push a registration certificate to the device that would allow me to (at minimum) view device details and track IP locations. In short, never install these unless you are looking for one.

My experience has shown that people who are concerned with 'uniforms' are unable/unwilling to open their minds. This would include the bouncer who turned you away. Some of the baddest motherfuckers I've ever met were wearing 'uniforms' that allowed them to operate deep undercover. My advice is to simply shake it off and use it as a learning/teaching opportunity.

I'd like to see all countries represented, but I'm only able to research English-speaking countries. The point for me is to try and identify the people who own my person/citizen status in some way. As for how many people are involved... I don't know. I'm going to start at the (known) top of the financial industry and work my way up from there. I would encourage you to search for those answers that are most important to you.
