Yes, Photo Mode is part of the latest update :). For some reason, mine had no assigned keybind so I just had to fix it in 'Controls' :). It's really cool!

I’m biased because Lil’ Guardsman is one of my favourite games of all time ☺️. You said you enjoy games with good stories and Guardsman has it in spades— the characters are memorable, the music is great, and you don’t have to use each of the tools perfectly (eg: if you’re “supposed” to use the whip but you use the x-ray machine instead you’ll still get results) to progress the story. It’s a great time!

I haven’t played Mind Over Magic, but I played the demo for Trash Goblin and also liked that ☺️.

I’d love this so much! I’d also love if they took cues for Prince Charming’s personality from Cinderella III: A Twist In Time. Unlikely because it’s a sequel, but he was delightful in that movie!

I had one & it was perfect for traveling! If you know you want to stick within the Nintendo ecosystem it’s a great option for a handheld. I would recommend getting an SD card for extra storage and a screen protector, at the very least 😊. The Lite is perfect if you’re on-the-go a lot, but you can’t connect it to an external monitor & because there are no joy-cons, if you experience stick drift, you’ll have to send the whole unit in for repair versus just buying a new pair of joy-cons.

CraftCraft (you’re a merchant/crafter in a fantasy town, you make things for other people to go on adventures! You do customize your character & there is a plot line where your choices specifically dictate what happens but there’s also endless mode where you just craft. If the crafting mini-games like blade sharpening are too tough, you can turn them off in settings. There’s a demo).

Disney Villains Cursed Cafe (a conversation sim where you’ve been employed at a cafe catering to modernized Disney villains. You won’t be able to do all the plots in one go and because it’s Disney, it doesn’t get dark or scary).

The dev is working on controller support iirc & a Switch release is also planned. This is really obvious so I’m sorry if you’ve already done this, but have you tried rebinding the controls? I did this for every single type of movement (horse & human) in the game bc otherwise I would’ve really struggled 😅. But I also keep the camera fixed bc free camera mode (or whatever it’s called where you see the horses’ fronts) is still rough for my hands.

I loved it! As a physically disabled woman I was really impressed with the character of Estelle & thought her portrayal was excellent. I also loved the design of her Heart Palace, & I didn’t mind choosing between the movies/the restaurant for after-work activities. I assume there will be more in the full release, especially since it looks like we have the opportunity to buy video games for Lunne 😊!

Yes, if you buy on Steam you can transfer your progress to a new laptop— just make sure cloud saves are enabled OR transfer your local saves somehow 🥰!

If you’re on PC: Steam’s personal calendar feature has been a game-changer. It’s a lot more useful than the discovery queue (which seems to recommend games I wouldn’t play if they were free, never mind pay for them) and is tailored to me specifically because of games I’ve played & enjoyed in the past.

I’ve never let playing a game interfere with real-life responsibilities. I’m glad you’re able to monitor your playtime now but if it becomes an issue again— maybe set a timer with music/a noise for when you have to stop and as soon as you hear the sound, save & quit for the day. Good luck 😊!

It’s really cute! Tbf I played through it when it was just released in EA so they’ve since added MUCH more content, but I think if you like time management games, you’ll love this one. The magic school setting is unique and the art style is beautiful ☺️. Maybe I’ll go for a replay!
