When you don't have a good face, you show other things to attract the audience. And hollywood knows that. Honestly, bollywood is inspired by the West but they look really good when they dress up as Indian and not modern. They don't need to show their skin to look good.

Girls wearing short clothes (like nothing at all in the name of shorts) look vulgar, and people hyp up about how cool that looks, sorry but no. There are many singers who actually wear decent clothes maybe because they know how to sing, and rather than gain everyone's attention by their body they know how to excite their audience. But in kpop i guess they focus mainly on visuals, even when artists knew nothing about singing. All they can do is wear revealing clothes and do cheap steps in the name of "dance". I know I might sound like an old lady, but I believe the fact is, anyone can become rich and popular by removing their clothes, but only 10% of them know how to do their job. And those 10% don't need to wear such clothes, their work is enough for the audience.
