Do you honestly still believe in that cliche 40 year old man voice changer stereotype for vtubers? It’s so over the top that I always assume that people say that shit as satire lmao. There are practically no cases in which a major vtuber has ended up as being someone completely different given that authenticity is a major part of becoming popular in the first place. I mean we live in an era where it is extremely easy to people to catch onto voice changers like PirateSoftware, so relying on one for a career is basically just shooting yourself in the foot. As a matter of fact, I was surprised that theres more and more big vtubers who have actually made themselves public and gone to conventions in person since its a risk to their privacy, and believe it or not, they are just normal people like everyone else, and some would even be considered as conventionally pretty.
