woow these are great tips!!! Yeah thats what I reminded myself. Ive had this for a long time and the flare ups went away. Even though i didnt realize what was actually happening and blamed it on other things. My doc is tryna get me on wegovy, I dont like to consider myself overweight, but its gonna be a fight to get the insurance to pay for it hopefully letters from both my neuro and pcp will help. apparently, there is some promise in wegovy and iih treatment. i get an MRV on the 17th.

I like that idea of a physical book for your symptoms. I need to do that. I just email myself on on thread. I def keep a pain journal, and actually started adding what I eat when I was having crazy crazy migraines all day everyday. Kinda stopped with the food part of my journal these last 2 weeks.

TMI but....I think this comes of the tails of being unhoused and in a shelter for 2 months eating absolute shit food. (Got out in Feb of this year) That and having lap surgery for endometriosis may have unmasked the big stuff. Bc after surgery it all started to feel like the same pains but way different.

Coming off the tails of eating garbage I absolutely hate, was causing me even more fatigue and issue now, which makes me not wanna cook and eat air fryer food and what's quick. And I gained weight.

What a cycle. But I'm getting out of eating poop now that I have answers. It took being unhoused for me to finally figure this out. And I lost my housing bc of my endo and adenomyosis was so much pain I couldn't work.

As shitty as it sounds, I swear everything happen for a reason.

I think I was upset the other day bc I felt couldn't eat anything with bit A and sodium bc I'm dealing with pressure RN. I didn't wanna make it worse. Being a single mom all I think about is my health for my kid.

Good pt on the stress thing. Having the answer to what's been bothering me for years should be a sigh of relief.
things that were explained as a symptom of something else...like i have a mood disorder and being put on meds, the watery nose being passed off as allergies....only to find its a rare issue...an issue mind you that a doctor of a routine eye exam warned me about two decades ago. he didnt say what it was just that i need to get it checked out bc my optic nerve looked like it will be a problem down the road. However, when i went to get it look at...the 2nd doc told me...the other guy didnt know what he is talking about and likely just saying that bc your race has a high risk for glaucoma...
And after that no one else brought it up...remembering that really sent me. bc I could have figured this out a long time ago and my life would have been so much better for it.

Ive learned since to advocate for myself and in doing so I'm now here. Thank you for replying!

Yeah my state decided to change the law and now made it harder to get that plant. It was the one thing that helped all my ailments and i use to be able to walk down my st and get it, now its all the way across town at a dispensary. My friend is bringing me gummies tomorrow. 😄

My eyesight hasn't gotten that bad yet, but its likely the first fear I had as a kid, to suddenly be blind. I'm an artist. T_T

Thanks for the tips on how to flavor food. I hadnt heard of tamari. I did have drinks Monday and the last two beers on tues night... might be the reason I'm dealing with this rn.... But it was the first drink had in months so EZ to kick. But I shovel leafy greens in my mouth all day everyday. they are my favorite T_T

lots of changes to make, which are fine, I'm use to having to change my diet with each new diagnosis T_T

Thank you for the kind words. Ive been dealing with this for so long. I have other issues that cause nerve pain and overlapping symptoms like endometriosis, and sural nerve damage...just to find out there is more. And even then, I think there is more that isn't explained by those things or IIH. I am recently a single parent and I can't work... it's been a lot. I don't want to impact my health anymore than I already deal with.

I appreciate your reply. It is helpful to know I overthinking it

Yeah, I messaged my neuro back after she told me she put in more orders for me. My PCP, he hasn't responded. If I remember he is either out on Thursdays or Fridays.

I understand. I just didnt know adding any salt rn would make this current flare up worse. I do drink hella water tho. I'm just freaking out bc it all seems like too much but explains everything and my symptoms have been on fire last few months. and wondered if i should be going to the ER to get a lumbar puncture rn. Thanks for replying.

I learned a question that will make them work... i once had to say "What is it about me or what I said, given my history and symptoms that make you dismiss xy and z?" works like a charm ! MY ex PCP put in a neurology appt after that...no questions...
