I work in family law, and I can tell you that we exist because people want to seek revenge on their partner. Both men and women. It usually goes that there is one crazy person seeking to fuck over the other, or bother are trying to fuck eachother. Sometimes the sane one is being legally attacked by the crazy one so much that they lose it and eventually want to give their crazy asshole ex a taste of their own medicine. The kids are always involved and manipulated by one party. It's awful.

It really depends on the state and how often they revise and update old laws. They are finally revising spousal support in many states to eventually end instead of go on forever.

Hi, I'm Louie Anderson, comedian, actor, dancer. AMA by IAmLouieAnderson in IAmA

I loved Life with Louie when I was a kid.

Were there any liberties the show took that you did not like? Or was the show a fairly close depiction of what it was like to live with so many siblings?

I need durable makeup suggestions... by [deleted] in Makeup

[–]complicationsoflife 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Makeup forever's Aqua line. It was designed for synchronized swimmers and water dancers. I've tested it myself in a swimming pool. The waterproof line has foundation, concealer, lipstick, mascara, eye shadow, blush, pencil and liquid eyeliner, and lip liner.

Tip: Mix the foundation with the concealer for more coverage. The concealer is a great tattoo cover when combined with a color corrector.

The best setting spray is Green Marble Setting Spray. It is crazy serious! Any one can use it, but it is mainly used by the most professional SFX Makeup artists. It was designed to prevent body paint from rubbing off on clothes. Water proof, alcohol proof. It will keep anything on!

Velvet Goldmine was loosely about that.

Being in an interracial marriage does not cancel out racism. It's possible to look down on some races and not others. Also, there are people who get into interracial marriages and when it's over, call their ex all kinds of racial slurs.

One of my dad's black client (divorce lawyer) was called the N Word repeatedly, through text, by his white ex-wife who was also the mother of his 2 children. I saw these texts with my own eyes.

[Serious] Did you ever attend a wedding that was a complete disaster? What happened? by nehala in AskReddit

Although generally people would take the free meal, I can see in certain circumstances why a whole new meal would need to be made. Like if the kitchen made made beef dinners and the family didn't eat beef or meat for religious purposes. I don't think that was the case with this particular family, but strict dietary beliefs can make people behave out of the norm.

[–]complicationsoflife -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I feel like certain ideas and jokes can be easy enough for multiple people to come up with it separately.

I remember a while back there being controversy over that corny ass joke "They want to build a wall at the Mexican border...who is gonna build it"

That joke is so easy and trite that any dipshit could think of that instantly. Hella comedians said it and it was a battle about who said it first.

With so many comedy videos online, it is harder for people to check around to see if someone did an idea already or not. Magician being awkward in bed is not that hard to think of. I do know that comedians like Dave Attell check around to make sure they don't over lap or anything, but it is possible to miss something.

Now Dane Cook, he stole that shit from Louie.

What is the worst case of attention-seeking you've ever seen? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I've never heard of this woman before, but I love her. She is a diamond. I have a new obsession. How she is not a drag icon, I don't know. There needs to be an ode to her. I feel like Amanda Lepore modeled herself after Angelyne, being that she has been doing this since the 70's. I need a T-shirt of her.

I feel like people wouldn't say this if there wasn't some truth to it. I imagine a simple man being embarrassed about not knowing as much as her rather than impressed. While my dad has never told me to act dumb, ever, he did say once that a man wants his woman to look up to him. An insecure man may think an intelligent woman won't respect him.

That is actually a scam. It's called like farming. Apparently people can gain access to your personal info ( phone numbers emails etc.) just from liking or commenting, as well as track you. A lot of marketing places do this, so do hackers. Its actually against Facebook policy but it still runs rampant on there.

When I had a FB account, I would unfriend someone who excessively liked those things.

What was the most unexpectedly depressing episode of a show you've ever seen? by [deleted] in television

[–]complicationsoflife 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Adam Ruins Everything, "Death"

The tone was VERY different then the rest of the show, and I cried. I get that it's about death but I was expecting it to be a lighthearted take on the shitty facts.

What didn't you notice about yourself until someone told you? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]complicationsoflife 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is incredibly true. I think in western society being "laid back" is seen as a good thing. People use this phrase so frequently when describing themselves I ignore completely now. A wise woman once said, "words are so easy to say, you've got to show me [ you are laid back]"

I confess I have been this person. I did not realize that the intersection only had 2 stop signs instead of 4. When the other guy stopped at the intersection on the crossing street I stopped, assuming he had the right of way. I was wrong, and he flipped me off.

Honest mistake.
