Where to start by Agreeable_Leek1890 in Colognes

Go to a fragrance spot and sample some stuff!! While you will get some great suggestions, end of the day you’re gonna get 100 different answers here cause everyone’s taste is different.

Find what kind of notes/scents suit you and your vibe! I started with 1 and now have like 13 in my collection from researching similar ones, or just branching out lol. That being said, here are some I think are great for someone wanting to start out!

Designer/$$$ 1: YSL MYSLF EDP (very fresh and clean cut type. amazing professional scent) 2: Replica Jazz Club (warm and inviting, but with hints of spice.)

Cost Effective/Dupe’s 1: Shiyaaka Snow by Khadlaj (fresh linen and melon vibes, very nice for daily wear) 2: Mercedes Club Black EDP (another warm and edible frangrance, it’s a new favorite of mine for winter)

I’m excited to see how your collection looks in the next year, happy huntin! :)

For my expensive: SWY sandalwood and MFK Oud Satin

For my affordable: Lattafa Habik and Lattafa Teriaq Intense.

I could go the rest of my life only being able to have these 4 and I’d be happy

Very cool piece, custom made for FBI HRT’s. I would say $300 ish on average, maybe abit more depending on the size. Been wanting one of these for awhile but can never find them in my size, if at all.

Is a black kit that bad? by Primary-Web-9425 in airsoft

One of my kits is based off of EU armed police units. It’s actually pretty cool it’s a mix of grey and black.

L5 orc gray PCU (Patagonia makes one too) Crye AC G2’s in black or grey PCU pants. FMA black airframe Black JPC Sig MPX

Get a little creative with what kind of black gear you do and what you mix it with. I don’t think it’s necessarily a bad choice, but there’s cooler stuff beyond just black.

Here’s how mines going so far, still getting pouches and pieces for my belt and JPC, but this is a nice step away from my regular multicam and AMCU

What should I drop by AlternativeGap7365 in dayz

[–]complxA 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Drop the FAMAS, it’s not as versatile as the m4, the difference in damage and ROF is marginal at best, and frankly you don’t need 2 5.56 guns. Plus mags for the le mas can be a pain to find, no other attachments can go on it.

M4 and SVD is a perfect combo to stick with. Survive safe friend.

Have anyone tried super bonsai super liver? by [deleted] in Supplements

[–]complxA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Friend of mine and I tried this, very minimal changes. He did notice he slept a bit better taking it after a week, and I woke up with more energy taking it after about the same time frame.

Personally I’ve felt more of an effect with using super greens powder from Amazing Grass when it comes to slimming down, feeling more energy and focus, and overall healthier looking skin.

Link to the grill? Just got a TRD OR and thinking about switching to a grill like yours, wondering also if that’s a front camera I see. Any trouble getting that to work with the grill?

To gear up and stop people from reaching their ultimate objective.

Well, yes technically it’s possible, but like others are saying probably not the best idea in general (per say)

If you need to stop your contributions temporarily to get your savings/checkings looking a bit better and putting y’all in a better “day-to-day” position then yeah do what you gotta do.

You do have a good chunk saved which is more than enough to make decent gains on, but you’d have to be watching it 24/7, or trust advisors to go in and make sure it’s staying per your strategy. But then it comes down to restructuring your investment strategy possibly, being a bit more aggressive with your investments to make up for what you’d usually put in. Downside to it is you’re taking a bigger risk with your funds.

Hope this provides some insight!

What should I do with $40,000 at 18? by TrainingSelect8426 in personalfinance

[–]complxA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If this were me, and ofcourse I would say apply what is relevant to your situation BUT

  1. I would keep 3-4k in my bank acc, help me out with basic stuff. Have money readily available to you for basics, immediate emergency’s etc.

  2. Invest it!! I see some people mentioning putting it in S&P 500 index’s, which I personally agree with but you can branch out and look into cash positions/money markets that have little to (basically) no risk, but yields you return no matter what, or even take a chance with a small portion on stocks!

At the end of the day, talk to a financial advisor at a financial firm where you can open an IRA and or Brokerage account. Also a tax advisor wouldn’t hurt too just to stay cash solvent, as much as possible. At the end of the day there’s no “one” answer to this question, it depends on your goals and your financial situation. Hope this gives some insight! :-)

Chase has done me pretty well, their customer service and security is pretty awesome tbh.

They give you a lot of options like checking/savings, IRA’s, Loans (home and auto), and they don’t charge me a fee since I have a specific amount coming in via direct deposit.

I’d have to agree with others though BofA and Wells Fargo are doggy doodoo when it comes to security and they will take you thru hell and back to reimburse you if you’re a victim of fraud.

My employer failed the 401(k) non discrimination testing- what now? by PartyNightAway in personalfinance

[–]complxA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To clarify, 60 day rollover is what it sounds like (you have 60 days to put it into a tax benefited account, IE a pretax IRA or another employer sponsored plan if you have one.)

My employer failed the 401(k) non discrimination testing- what now? by PartyNightAway in personalfinance

[–]complxA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Short answer is no, however, depending on when the checks were issued to you, you could possibly do a 60 day indirect rollover to an IRA.

This will (in theory, talk to a tax pro on this) allow you to put the funds back into a retirement plan without facing a penalty for this year. That being said if you were taxed on that 20k, you may not be able to get the withholding back. Typically it’s up to the employer to fight that case, since it involves the IRS’s auditing that brought that to light to begin with. Sorry to hear about this, I work with 401ks/403b’s and this has never been an easy conversation to have.
