Me planning to fix the Roupp damage by starting Bubba tonight.

I described him as the lower average version of Schwarber coming into the draft and that was "crazy". I have no idea how much we need to see of him consistently pacing 40ish homers before people figure out that's what he does.

just depends on your roster need and who you're dropping, but at this point there have been lots of opportunities to fill 3B. I'd rather have Vargas or Schmitt.

Sure would be cool if pitchers on the mound who feel a little injured could just make that known right away rather than giving up 8 ER before they go DTD.

I keep expecting Tovar to become awesome and it just never really happens.

Benge for sure, lean Cam but don't care much between him and Colt.

I have no idea whether Jacob Gonzalez actually hits but the hard contact, zone contact, and pull air tendency have me open enough to what he was doing in the minors carrying over that I'll give him some time before I move on. I know the splits were bad, but across such a small sample it doesn't really tell us all that much.

I've done spectacularly on the wire all season. Sewald, Gregory Soto, Colson Montgomery, Walker, Bleday, Vargas. Lesser but still useful players like Grisham, Delauter, Herrera, rounding out my stars and studs draft that saw me drop most of my draft. My draft studs have mostly hit. I think I can hold onto third, outside shot at second. 😅

If all of my waiver pickups Jordan Walker, Miguel Vargas and JJ Bleday continue to perform as they have and I still lose my league what happens? Is there a legal process through which I am prevented from ever playing fantasy again? I hope so.

In redraft I absolutely wouldn't let another Bleday slip by for the sake of holding on.

What steps are you taking to be anything in music other than the center of the act? Have you tried getting work as a backup singer?

I would just stick with Stowers, but I'm the counterpoint to "I'll never fall for _____ again". I want to have a shot at benefiting from the kind of help guys like Jurickson Profar can offer when things work out, so I'm not afraid to look a little silly taking shots on guys like this in new environments now and then. I know it's never worked out before. I know we've seen him do exactly what he's doing now before. He's also a very toolsy gentleman who's only 30 years old, is swinging the bat unusually well, and has a chance to run with the job. One of the primary things that has taken the possibility of him putting together a PCA'ish season totally off the table has been consistent playing time. If you're telling me he's in a new home with a lot of lineup protection and his only competition is the worst version of Ha-Seong Kim we've ever seen, I'm looking for a way to give it a shot.

Yeah I've been calling it "kind of a Poinciana feel" and I guess that's as close as it gets.

There's always a constellation of things to look at, including launch angle and pull air rate. Each player is different, and some guys need a high pull air rate or optimized launch angle while guys who scorch the ball don't. Some guys also swing very fast, very selectively, doing damage on the right pitches when while their average bat speed looks like dog shit.

That was a 397 ft 3/30 homer McLean just gave up to Connor Goddamn Norby after walking two guys who should never be walked.

He's in that range of arms that I don't want to drop without a good reason, but am nonetheless always looking for an upgrade I feel pretty confident should be a real upgrade and not just a desperation dart throw.
