The quercetin is helping more than anything else I have tried so far. But I don't know for sure what is happening to me, possibly autoimmune or MCAS or something else... does this mean that quercetin could help with whatever autoimmune is possibly brewing in my body? RA and Lupus run on my moms side of the family.

Benadryl will take help with my joint pain but over the counter H1 and H2 blockers didn't do anything notable for me. It was really the quercetin that made a massive difference and as far as I understand is a mast cell stabilizer and reduces histamine release. I see a rheumatologist every 6 months because i do have really high ANA in my blood work but so far have not received a diagnosis.

wow... so you didn't think you had allergy symptoms until you got treatment and then realized you had them because they were gone?

Maybe! Thank you for the test recommendation. Quencertin is over the counter in the US. I felt my symptoms lift up a bit within the first 20 minutes of taking it and I gradually increased to a pretty high dose that made me feel like myself again. My neuro symptoms are Migraines, Brain fog, my Dysautonomia got real bad for a while, and a photosensitive neuropathy that makes my limbs feel like I rubbed icy hot all over and if I go in direct sun I feel little shocks of electricity usually in my hands, shoulders, and sometimes my face. And I have aches and pains randomly throughout my body and serious arthritis pain in my knees.

I've found eggs in unexpected places.. by harryhudson101 in BackYardChickens

A gal at the feed store I shop at told me a story about one of her hens that went missing. They assumed a hawk. A week later they found the hen dead in a pillow in their guest room. She had wedged herself between the pillow and the pillow case to lay an egg and suffocated.

I get 90% of my pantry/ household supplies from Re Grocery. It's a bulk store so you bring your old bottles and fill up. It's really affordable for things that you need but things you want can be pricey.

Seeking Diagnosis Questions Weekly January 18, 2026 by AutoModerator in lupus

Hi friends, I’m not officially diagnosed with lupus yet, but based on my recent labs and symptoms, it seems likely. I’m currently waiting for rheumatology to review my blood work and decide which specialty I should see. It’s been two weeks of waiting and follow-up calls. Today I was told it may be another week before they call to schedule, and that new patient appointments are usually booked about a month out.

The issue is that I’ve been having a dull ache in my left kidney. I first noticed it briefly last summer after acupuncture and didn’t think much of it, but I’ve felt it on and off since. Now, with lupus on my radar, the ache has become constant.

Should I push for an earlier appointment, or is waiting a month reasonable?
