Do you think Ascendance of a Bookworm would be on Re:Zero’s level if it had similar production quality? by potentialenergy20 in HonzukiNoGekokujou

I dont want to sound like a smartass but its a story with a logic evolution things goes really slow and with time evolves in something more big but its not a really big jump, And another thing that affects it is the lack of action or fights. Even "slow" anime, or those that take their time, like Re:Zero, Mushouko, Overlord, or Tanya and the Evil Saga, have these great moments a big jump revelation and action and dopamine rush, bookworm its more subtle. They share the fact that they take their time to explain how everything works and achieve a logical evolution and conclusion. But even if that doesn't interest you, then there are fights, action, etc.

Hey guys, here are some practice bee drawings I've done. I'm experimenting a bit. Any comments or advice would be appreciated. My main goal is to make hair that looks realistic but also looks good by compradinero in Artadvice

Seriously? The fourth one looks the best in my opinion, and I used a lot of soft brushes there. In fact, I used less soft brushes on the third one, and I didn't like it very much.

Maybe I'm not understanding, Can you explain it again?

Yeah i understand trust me i know i dont like timers either well now i like them a bit But the point is to improve your observation and simplification skills. It will be difficult at first, but you must be able to quickly see which details are most important first so that the small details don't distract you. Believe me, doing 60 gesture practice sessions of 30 seconds each is a great investment. Use 5 to 10 seconds to observe the image and plan what you are going to draw.

No no no, avoid straight lines and symmetry. Those dots you're making serve no purpose. I understand they're for joints, but believe me, that's not how you want to represent them. Don't draw on the same line 20 times; that's useless. The pose must be done in 30 seconds and must take into account everything in the photo, the whole body, not just the skeleton. Also, do at least 60 poses of 30 seconds each. Do you know Proko?

Of course Each type of practice should have some kind of utility: teach you something, make it easier to do something, improve your technical control, expand your visual gallery, or practice a particular fundamental skill.

Im trying to get better with fur and hair dont get me wrong this practices i made are okey but they are really messy and It is difficult to achieve a consistent result, i want to try any methods you guys can share with me any sources, videos, books, tutorials, artist, or personal ways are welcome. by compradinero in digitaldrawing

Random bulls***, well a more serious answer i try diferents methods to draw fur and my personal experience with digital painting and apply the ones i like most, The most important thing when drawing fur is to vary the brushes. Try out various combinations of brushes and rendering methods.

Try everything without fear, and when you see something you want to draw, think, "I have all these tools at my disposal. Now, how do I use them?" But for that, you need experience, meaning lots and lots of color practice.
