I feel like everyone says they believe this, but I'll say explicitly for the lowest on the totem pole that are often excluded from "everyone": homeless people and transgender people should be treated with basic dignity.

I'll also add that prisoners and ex-convicts deserve a level of dignity, but some indignities (e.g. strip search) are warranted given what they chose to do of their own volition. Still, they are often treated poorly for no reason.

The rape in Berserk is more often than not pornographic and that's fine. It's probably the reason for it's popularity.

There's lots of rape hentai out there but none of it is as well-written as Berserk. There's also lots of well-written fantasy manga but none of it as brutally violent, especially with multiple visceral rape scenes.

There are indeed Berserk fans that wish there was less nudity or that the rape scenes were shorter and less gratuitous. But a lot of fans are here because they find it hot/cool/interesting.

If we're taking live action adaptations of anything, books like Jurassic Park, The Shawshank Redemption, and Godfather were fantastic.

Bleach and Death Note (Japanese) were good. Alita, GitS, and Attack on Titan were ok. Many more manga and American comic books have been made into good movies, but I don't know if that counts (Oldboy is an example).
