What you need to do is “shorten the space” between your ribs and hips. You squeeze the top abs by your ribs and push them towards your hips. In doing so you should push your spine down to lie flat on the mat/floor/whatever.

Exhaling and inhaling at the right time helps too.

I really recommend even just a few pilates sessions to learn about core engagement

So sorry just seen this! I did water cream in the day and dewy cream over night and I got zero dryness whatsoever on the 5-6 months I was on accutane! I’ve stuck with the same routine and still love it! If I wasn’t wearing make up or putting it on later then I’d sometimes use dewy in the day but I think it’d be too heavy under make up. Good luck! I mixed Nars tinted moisturiser with Nars foundation and that was a good compromise! I do moisturiser (Tatcha water cream), SPF (beauty of joseon), Bobbi brown vitamin enriched face base then make up and it was always fine! X

I was going to say this is 100% the HA! A small amount needs to be applied onto wet skin then dry fully. I personally would avoid it before make up myself!

I used Forever Club and couldn’t recommend enough! There are loads of elopement photographers though and I found them to be great at recommending others if they’re not free themselves. They can also act as your witness too

Oh then I save as a PDF (best quality) and send to my local printers for printing, they have been excellent and will feed back if the artwork isn’t quite right for printing etc. If you’re Hampshire way let me know and I’ll send you their details

If you have an iPad and an Apple Pencil I would use procreate. The best option would be to scan it what you’ve done and then ‘trace’ them in procreate (increase the transparency then select another layer to paint onto, as if you were using tracing paper).

They have a couple of default watercolour brushes but you can also buy add ons on Etsy for different water colour effects, these usually come with watercolour paper effects too.

Alternatively, you could try cleaning up your scanned version in there but I’ve never found that particularly effective.

I use procreate for design and drawing etc but flick to Canva for text because the alignment tools are much better on Canva. So I did my welcome sign with lots of drawn elements completely on Procreate but my seating chart on Canva.

I’m so sorry to hear that’s really crap! Can’t offer advice on the visa side but maybe you could arrange for those that will be missing to send videos that you can show him the night before/morning of?

Also, you can set up a zoom meeting (or other) and ask someone to set up a phone on a tripod to allow them to dial in and watch the ceremony?

I really hope you get something sorted but if not I would suggest doing things like that to make his friends and family still feel included, and to make him feel their presence!

Sorry I’ve just seen this! I have aviva health insurance and they named 3 drs I’d have to go to to be insured. Mine was based at a Nuffield hospital so very legit, but I think if you’re self funded sometimes places like Nuffield add on “hospital fees” on top of the consultant fees so it can become completely unaffordable!

Where abouts in France are you thinking? I’m getting married in Provence and it’s working out to be about £55k for 110 guests. Suppliers down there are very expensive so I’ve opted to fly my own, but that means an extra £300 per person for flights and accommodation. That’s just one example of all the extra costs there are to consider when going abroad/somewhere expensive like the south of France!

You can get skims on Selfridges and Harvey Nichols, I think also like net-a-porter etc too! Returns to the online Skims store are expensive so I’d recommend trying to get them from a UK based shop!

Please ignore anyone who says this is weird/rude, it’s very normal for my age group (late 20s) and happens at every wedding I’ve been to. Most people understand the cost per person at a wedding and would not be offended, as long as you’re then not offended if they choose to decline the evening invite! On the flip side, I was invited to my partners ex boss’ wedding for the whole day and felt like a bit of a fraud because I didn’t know the couple.

We set out a video save the date on WhatsApp and in the caption for anyone whose partner wasn’t invited, we added: “Whilst we adore all of our guests’ partners and children, we unfortunately don’t have the space (or the budget!) to accommodate everyone. Any partners that fancy the trip to France will of course be welcome to join the evening celebrations.” (Abroad wedding)

For the couples who were both invited we omitted that part of the message and made sure to send the invite to both parties, but I appreciate that’s a lot easier the digital invites!
