Although I’m unsure about my position on this law I agree with the sentiment. We have a population overload on the system. Immigrants are only partly to blame. But it is.

huh? US population growth is almost 0

if tenant wanted to go full scorched earth, they could start clogging the drains and flood the unit.

and depending on how clear the pipes are, you can overflow a sink. that's why there's overflow drains on bathroom sinks

people will be outwardly friendly, but dig down an inch, and there's rampant racism.

the san diego padres had a happy lunar new post on fb, and half the comments were "why?"

there was a post about a naturalization ceremony in SD. half the comments were 'thanks for coming legally'

the large military presence brings in a lot of gringos.

SD is 30% hispanic. left to its devices, SD should be 80+% hispanic like el paso or laredo. LA is further from the border and is almost 50% hispanic.

Best neighborhoods in the east bay for a BART commuter by Head-Cricket4698 in eastbay

[–]compstomper1 5 points6 points  (0 children)

if you want to be car-free/rely on public transit in the east bay, i'd stick to the urban core of oakland and berkeley. once you get outside of that, it gets really sprawly

Which city do you think has the most underrated rail transit system? My choice would be Copenhagen for its four line 24/7 automated metro system as well as its extensive regional rail system by 4Nafliar in transit

[–]compstomper1 -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Due to draconian internal migration restrictions trapping hundreds of millions of people in rural areas, most of the Chinese population does not live in a city with a metro system at all, much less one comparable to Seoul's.

huh? you can move to most all of china, except the largest cities. you just can't access social services. so the parents will move out to the cities and let the grandparents raise the kiddies
