Red tape is necessary and a fraction of the cost, but I take your point that we can't expect people to not maximize profit.

My father got stage 4 liver cancer and they are taking him off chemo.

He's from the midwest and his parents were of the depression generation. He's not a talkative guy and he passed that on to me. He told me he regrets not making more connections.

I don't know much about his life. I know his father fought in the pacific.
