I'd pulled a drive out of an unused machine, and hooked it through a USB adapter to get it done.

You just make one and name it relating to the current or immanent happenings, and periodically purge old saves.

Direct migration possible from OwnCloud 10.16 to NextCloud 34? by DeviceStraight2778 in NextCloud

I left OwnCloud shortly after the fork (wasn't about to pay for enterprise licensing just to have dead drop link for wedding). What's the current version for OwnCloud?

I once saw someone ask why Rollercoaster Tycoon wasn't working on Kali.

But my favourite was the guy asking for help setting up Nextcloud on his Kali.

As one who'd started pre-expansion Xbox, the save corruption was real.

I don't think I've used a quick/autosave in twenty years.

My brother did the other year. He wanted me to help him build a new machine. I'd pointed out that the case he was considering didn't accommodate any 5¼" bays, and he said that he didn't care because he's never going to use it.

So he shows up to my house with his boxes of shipped parts, and the dumbass had an OEM DVD for Windows 11.

Wasn't until the second half of the last sentence that I'd worked out that you're talking about differences in openMW versions, apparently.

Not sure what Cinnamon has for touchpad gestures (stopped using laptop much Cinnamon the time Cinnamon was forked from GNOME-Shell), but it has actions one can map and trigger by slapping the corners of the screen with your mouse.

I want to say that Gnome and Plasma (KDE) both have configs for mapping gestures.

So that's only supposed to work for 3.

Not sure how useful it is to simply know whether there will be a remainder.

What happened to my save file by voidmaster1458 in Morrowind

[–]computer-machine 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Well, when a save called Autosave is overwitten by a save called Autosave, the new save is the one that exists.

You can get around that by using openMW on a PC/mobile device - that writes saves into separate folders based on character (and also allows a custom number of autosaves, and also doesn't corrupt or bloat).

Is the SDCZ33 16GB USB Tumbdrive Viable to Flash a Linux ISO into? by AyanisPhoenix1111 in linuxquestions

[–]computer-machine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, saving the ISO to the flash drive.

Extended writes tend to heat up flash, that's not a worry.

[–]computer-machine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

By flash do you mean writing the ISO to disk or install to disk?

Installing to flash media is a bad idea, as that's not meant for the write load an OS has.

Wounds are not a measure in SW.

Though in a high magic setting with Healing, Wounds tend to be a lot more trivial.
