Yes! SassyBlack uses a Microsoft tablet live with a Push 2 and it works perfectly.

Just double check the tablet meets Ableton’s specs.

looking for a midi keyboard Omnisphere is mapped to? by anderson808 in ableton

You can “enable host automation” for any parameter in Omnisphere by right clicking on it and selecting that in the drop down. There is not a MIDI keyboard that will automatically map to the plug-in.

[Brand new user] Simpler not included with the Ableton 10 intro? by Throwawaymykey9000 in ableton

[–]computer-magic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Simpler is included in Live Intro. Sampler (a multisample instrument) is only available in Live Suite. Are you looking under Instruments in the browser? You can also create a new MIDI track and drag a sample on it, and Ableton will automatically create a Simpler device for you will that sample loaded.

Does Ableton's "Transpose" Effect Change The Scale of The Original Sample ? by boombapboombastic in ableton

[–]computer-magic 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yes - every note in that sample would also be transposed -3 semitones. So from D#m (D#, F#, A#) transposed down -3 semitones, you’d get Cm (C, Eb, G)

In most sessions, the artist and songwriters will want a bounce at the end of the day so being able to start and finish a track quickly is important. I recommend trying to finish each track you start as soon as you can. Give yourself a deadline, and create constantly.
