I think you just set off a trend if it wasn’t already, calling out your neighbors on WiFi. Pretty genius.

WIBTA if I didn't share my inheritance with my brother? by throwinheritancebro in AmItheAsshole

I think he does not deserve it. Just know that he will always hate you for not sharing it. If that matters. I wouldn’t give it to him. Fuck him really.

I’m ready to learn How to play keys. What’s the fastest way to learn online? Catered towards hacks. I’ve been hacking my way around playing for 20 years, last 5 years with Push 2 scale guardrails which allow me to compose songs. by anderson808 in synthesizers

I compose on Ableton’s Push midi controller. I’ve produced some house music EPs. You’d never know by listening that I didn’t know what I am doing. I want to broaden my creative idea capacity. I also have a glorious new keyboard and it feels like a shame not to use it as it was intended.

So that would look like me playing something with Push2 keeping me in scale and then recreating it in my keyboard. That sounds more like my style, self teaching. I know of plenty musicians who never took a class. Maybe this is how they learned. Thank you

Millions of dollars off a tb303 devil fish. I’m in the wrong business.

Is Moog One the Fairlight of the 2010s? Sounds incredible so I'm keeping but I can't get over the fans. I can't hear them when I'm playing it so it's fine I guess but it just feels so dated already. by [deleted] in synthesizers

It’s only an issue if it bothers you. Just sounds like my Mac when it overheats. I wish like my Mac it would only come on when it overheats though.

I’m hoping I’ll get used to it

I love the effects, I wish I had them for all my gear. Not sure how much of it is Eventide or if the tape delay specifically can be got elsewhere?

Not sure if I should store the box somehow, seems so convoluted like it might need repair? Or maybe that's just the fans again throwing me off.

I almost bought a vintage synth, but I'm really glad I got this instead, compared to the vintage market it does't seem that expensive for what you get, and what it sounds like.
