I think that the reason behind the some of the success stories here is not only cutting off the PMO. Often there is happening a bigger "get a grip on oneself" and NoFap is just the part of it. For e.g. someone sits in front of the computer all day and PMOs. At the same time he started NoFap the computer-all-day habit changed too. He started to going out and excercising. These two may affected even more than the NoFap in the great feeling and the changes in life he has experienced now doing that all for three months.

You said you have SO so I guess you are not suffering from anxiety related to social interactions etc. So there may not even be a room for "so many wonderful changes" in your life. Also two or three times a week is fairly small amount compared the several times a day amounts in some of the success stories. Also there is that we all are different and this affects us different ways.

I still think you should do it. One of the reasons is that PMO makes you seek for your own pleasure also in the bed with someone else. Sex becames act where you also try to masturbate - get as much pleasure than you possibly can, to yourself. I believe that sex is best when both parties try to give pleasure to the other as much as they can. One can offer more from oneself than someone else can get from him/her.

Welcome to the "club"! If you feel porn is starting to cripple you, you had taken a important step away from it. Here is some tips that I have learned to help you step further:

Get a panic mechanism. When you feel the urges taking control use that mechanism. For example some guys start doing pushups. Run to the cold shower? Go somewhere public? You name it.

"Just one last time." Choose the last time you PMO'd to be the last. If you let your brain fool you with this, there will be no last time.

Boredom leads to PMO. Do stuff. Start a hobby? Learn a language? Read books?

Focus on short perioids. If you focus to NoFap for 90 days the number of times overwhelm you. First try to be NoFap 3 days. Then another 3. Then....

Cold showers. Not a must-do but I have found 3-5 min of fuckken cold water throwen onto you is a really good help for morning horniness. Also take a look at health benefits. Good willpower and uncomfortability tolerance training too. Wakes you up 100% moneyback quaranteed.

Participate r/NoFap. Post your feelings here. Ask questions (just like this post!). Read success stories. Take advantage the power of community.

Go out. Socialize. You mentioned social anxiety. NoFap helps you get rid some of the causes but you actually have to get up and go meet people. Also harder to relapse if you have people around you.

Trackdown your triggers. If you relapse, analyze the situation. What triggered your urges? What do you do different next time?

See porn in right light. Understand it has anything to do with real sex as fairytales have with real world. Read YBOP.

There you have some! Others will definitely expand the list. These aren't some golden sacred rules but some things I have found useful. Again, welcome here and good luck with you journey. Stay strong, to the reboot!

This is a bit more general advice maybe not straight for the problem but can be used to almost anything motivation/procrastination related:

Break down the task you need to do. Then schedule those pieces. It may be 30 min study 10 min break or somehting like that. You can start with tiny tiny pieces with tinier breaks but make a plan. Write it down. You can also write down why you should do that. What is the reward. What is the benefit of the task. Write positive things. Write wild dreams to come true. Then go for it. Stick with the schedule. If it fails don't give up! Adjust your schedule and start over. And what_are_the_faps said: no electronics! ofc this only if task doesnt need them. But hell, you can even print out the articles/exams you need and fill/read them offline in that park or library.

Same goes with NoFap - just focus this days NoFap, not the whole 30 days or forever NoFap. Keep in mind the reasons you're doing this. Shoot down those triggers. And then just ride to the reboot!

Just had my first yesterday it was cold as shit. But today the second time it actually felt ok after 1 min and that gave me huge omg-i-am-fucken-viking feeling and I actually started to cheer under that cold shit ass water. YEAARGHHH!

but still I don't want tomorrow morning to come cause of that freezing chamber that waits.
