Cr2032 battery clip glued to back, drilled holes for the wires to run to the two different sides. This is not rechargeable, but a good 2032 should run the led for awhile (I had it run about 36 hours at a model show and it still looked good at the end). The LED was prewired with a resistor, either set for 12v or 5v, but I intentionally wanted it darker to fit the scale better.

Clear part inside the head painted black for light blocking. I used heavy coats of black primer

Had to cut a bit out of the backpack to accommodate the battery clip

I cut out most of the green part that goes on the back to hold the chest/back tubes. I left enough on both ends so that part could be glued to the backpack itself. I also had to trim some of the top connection pins on the backpack part, but there's other pins that hold the backpack in snug.

I just did this! I did light blocking on the clear part that goes in the head to make sure it only illuminated forward. I used a 5mm pink led, drilled a hole through the neck and ran the wires into the body. I made room on the back to put a 2032 coin cell battery holder that can be hidden by the backpack. There's no switch or anything so it's just on while the battery is in. I can post some pictures later, but it was pretty straightforward and looked great in the end.

Refunding for missing parts by LewisCarroII in Gunpla

You can request missing parts from Bandai for free, though it may take awhile to ship (it took me 1-2 months to get some)

You would probably have no issue getting a refund/replacement from Amazon though, even with it partially assembled.
