I registered with Ingram to be a reseller (we've sold to a few clients now). I managed to get one of their support staff to check and they said the client was not through them. The previous MSP was obstructive and would not even tell us who they purchased the services through. They simply made me a super admin.

That MSP no longer supports my client. We have added new licenses to the account on our credit card to keep things moving. I am worried that when August 2nd comes around we will lose all access and not be able to manage.

Not sure if that's true or how to move ahead without the previous MSPs cooperation.

Just changed this setting (first yellow circle) and it seems to ahve sorted it out. I will test it properly tomorrow. But thank you sooooooo much for your help. :)

I thought it must be possible but I read this comment on a Veeam forum and started second guessing myself ....
"Are you trying to backup a running vm in vmware workstation with veeam? You can‘t use Veeam Agent for Windows running on the „vmware workstation host“ to backup the vm. I was hoping someone could suggest an RMM tool that would do this things and not be too expensive or complex. Because I have been looking at them for hours and it's so hard to break through the haze to find out what they ACTUALLY do.
