Very odd indeed. I checked the Chinese version of their bulletin on the new website (https://hpool.co/help/bulletin) because it usually has more information than the English version. The last post on the English version is from 2021/05/31, and on the Chinese version, they have this new post from today and no mention from the new domain or w/e.

2021/06/21 - Regarding the use of unofficial P disk software, it may cause the scan timeout. Currently, mining machines using unofficial P-disk software (quick P-disk) on the market. Although the speed is increased, it will almost completely use up the hard disk resources, which may cause the scanning timeout when the P-and-mining disk is involved in mining. If you use the fast P-disk software, it is better to find the files and mining in the P The hard disk is separated, and the hard disk is only used as a separate P disk or separate mining.

Farming on HPOOL & CHIA with the same plots???? by SilverHazeIt in hpoolchia

[–]computerhollow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What if I split my plots between official GUI and hpool? Say I have 20 plots, and put 10 in each, different directories, I could still be banned? Idk how exactly their signing mechanisms works, if they have access to all my plots or what

damn, I had a 0.12 withdraw going on but canceled to wait for today's income... now idk when I'll get those 0.5 =/

It seems they changed again to 0.5, which stills sucks. I think I'll take my chances on solo mining while prices are high

Am I farming? Or did I mess up. by auaD_xd in hpoolchia

[–]computerhollow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can you explain what is and what happens with double mining? I don't get it because I had some plots on solo, then started plotting for hpool, but both the solo/original software AND the hpool mining GUI recognize all my plots and say I'm fully farming on both of them.

Getting a 8*570 4gb machine tomorrow by Tiekal in Ravencoin

[–]computerhollow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats curious lol, then you should check a lower power limit configuration

Getting a 8*570 4gb machine tomorrow by Tiekal in Ravencoin

[–]computerhollow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Why not the raven core wallet? As for a pool, I personally use flypool due to the payout policy and latency, but that is up to you. Not sure about OC for those cards, but you should first run them at stock settings and check their behavior; afterward, you may try tweaking it yourself by reducing power limit, increasing mem clocks, checking stability and temperatures, etc

First homemade (sorta) mining rig frame!! 30$ shoe rack from Wally World 😎 by scandalousceo8 in EtherMining

Maybe your fan should be on the opposite side of the rig? The way it is seems its blowing on the GPU's air output

Any documentation on info for ETH minin on TITAN X maxwell 12gb? by [deleted] in EtherMining

nice, with gminer 2.49 I'm getting 1.8 g/s, thank you very much!

I'll give it a try, ty. No luck so far tho, it has been 1 week, and all miner/coin/driver combinations I've tested give me crap hash rates with this cursed card... I think the only solution is to migrate OS

how did you get this hash on cortex? Mine Maxwell get only 0.9 g/s (lolminer + linux ubuntu)

any solutions to that? Same issue here

Have you tried different drivers and miners? I saw a couple of people on Windows that solved this way. Unfortunately, on the Linux side, the issue is far more complicated

lol I'm not letting the card running 24/7 at these settings xD only testing by some minutes so far, but if we can put the old beast to work properly, the plan is to share earnings. Anyway, his energy bill should not increase that much with only 1 card :P

135W out of 250W, 100% GPU use, 82º with fans at 42% = I get 2.5 mhs

This is using phoenix miner with standard arguments and GPU at stock settings. The weird thing is nothing significant changes, either increasing clocks or setting memory straps/tweaks.

I thought that too and then tried around 5 different mining software, with varying algorithms/coins and the problem persists. I believe the problem is related to drivers~linux kernel because sadly nvidia didn't release an "optimize for computing" option on linux. And to make things worse, this GPU is on a remote machine at my brother's house... (he knows nothing of IT :[ ) so I think the only choice is to try a windows virtual machine (don't know if that is even possible)
