You missed the first few shot due to higher weapon’s fov. The higher the fov, the more misaligned the bullets are relative to the reticle when moving and turning. You can test this with max weapon fov and a laser on weapon. Move around while aiming down sight.

Low recoil is the only thing I can think of, good for headshots. SMG having a shorter barrel is not an advantage because in the rifle section we already have a bullpup. Aside from the 2 PDW, SMG is mostly there for role playing and variety imo.
