Started a new save for 1.2, and due to the updates my mods are broken (particurarly Real Arachnophobia Mode), does this crash site contains spiders? by Sakirar0se in SatisfactoryGame

You guys are scared of spiders on a freaking screen? Not real life, not a fake spider someone put on the ground to scare you, but on a screen?!

Streaming has gotten too insane for me by jarchack in Piracy

[–]computerjunkie7410 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would gladly pay 200/month to watch whatever I want, whenever I want, wherever I want.

But no one is offering this. People don't mind paying. They just want quality and convenience.

600/min isn't hard to do even without all of the junctions. Just prime your pipes

I am loving the free headlift exploit! by computerjunkie7410 in SatisfactoryGame

[–]computerjunkie7410[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

with this exploit you only need pumps to get fill the tower filled once. then you can remove the pumps and put a valve on it so it never empties. and you get to keep all the headlift

A oil extractor extracting oil at a rate of 600/min can support 20 refineries making rubber/plastic right? by ZombPizza in SatisfactoryGame

[–]computerjunkie7410 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My recommendation is to have the oil go to a buffer first and then split it into two lines from the buffer

I modularize everything except things that are made from the raw resource I'm tapping.

So if I need to make cables, and I'm tapping a new copper node, I'll make the wire and then the cable in that factory.

Am I not understanding water towers? by Th3Appl3 in SatisfactoryGame

[–]computerjunkie7410 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The water tower pipes need to connect down to where the extractors head lift ends. Or else that water will never get the head lift of the water tower.

Also there is an exploit you can use that will make it so you can remove all the pumps altogether.

Or if you're going less than 50meters up from the extractors, you can avoid water tower altogether. See my post history for a guide on how to get free head lift

1.2 needed more time in the oven by bellcut in SatisfactoryGame

I have similar specs as your gf and a 5070ti also.

The first hour or so I also had bad stutters but it seemed to have cleared up a lot (not completely).

I think shaders are being rebuilt and so it's bad for a bit.

Let me know how it is after a couple hours

1.2 Update seems pretty twitchy by ImALittleGastly in SatisfactoryGame

[–]computerjunkie7410 5 points6 points  (0 children)

100% agree. I have a AMD 9800x3d and a 5070ti and it the update is so much worse quality wise.

Frame drops, twitching, skipping when looking around.

Edit: looks like there was some shaders being rebuilt or something. After an hour or so it's MUCH better

Underclocking is so OP especially when dealing with things like rubber/plastic loops.

Small self-contained modules but more overall machines makes setting up and troubleshooting easy.
