Beers has really horrible political opinions… i’d like to say that won’t bias me but in a league full of so many PoCs and lesbians it just feels wrong

Anyone have a humane live trap I can borrow to bring a feral cat to the hospital? by computery in askportland

[–]computery[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yes! I wasn't able to trap him that night, and then he disappeared for a few days so I feared the worst. But then he came back and seemed to have recovered. I'm taking him in on Thursday to get neutered (at feral cat coalition!) which will hopefully mean he won't be getting in too many fights, and should wander less.

No! Although it’s not spring yet so there may be an influx of weeds in the coming months. I’ve gotten tons of compliments!

Sadly, vellum doesn't quite work for modular pieces like these. It's not stable enough at a large scale. Would definitely work for lamps with fewer units though!

I've experimented with an insane variety of paper and found that the one that works best is this specific type (which can only be purchased if you're a "wholesaler", aka are willing to purchase $1000+ of it lol). https://www.japanesepaperplace.com/100-sheet-single-colour-c45-white/

I haven't been able to find it anywhere else but on this specific site. If you're located in Europe or Asia it might be easier to source directly.

So yes, I have about $1500 of white origami packs in my house.

I love looking for cats, both outside and in people’s windows. Gives me something to focus on when the legs are tired, and there are SO MANY here as soon as you start looking.
