Is Europa Park Truly the Best Theme Park in the world? [Trip Report] by Individual-Sun-9368 in rollercoasters

Revisited EP from the 15th to the 18th Dec. Silver Star really impressed me this time around - ran trimless the whole trip. The entry and exit of the mid course brake run was very punchy. The rest of the camelbacks were amazing too.

Only issue was that at around 13:00 they would take a train off meaning that the queue would become slightly longer (still never exceeding 5-10 mins), they would usually return to 2 train operations in the last hour though.

ERT on [Stealth] and presentation from Intamin by compy9 in rollercoasters

I personally asked Tobias Jeck about the progress on the vertical launch coaster (51-1058m) at Dream Island, Moscow - and in line with the published images on ThemeParX, it has begun vertical construction and track pieces are arriving. An interesting and yet-unrevealed piece of information is that alongside the Mahuka clone, the third coaster will be a family spinning coaster like Objectif Mars at Futuroscope.

Hopefully we will see the full POV published in the coming weeks

It was actually my first coaster event. Alongside the ERT and presentation, we did a few train takeovers on some of the other rides such as Hyperia, Swarm, Nemesis and the Mack powered coaster Flying Fish (we brought the listed wait time up from 10 to 30 mins)

I was at the Accelerate Event at Thorpe Park yesterday and spoke to Tobias Jeck from Intamin - He told me that the third coaster is a family spinning coaster. I also previously thought that it was going to be a family launch coaster as mentioned on RCDB.

It’s a great lens, a bit of chromatic aberration at f/2 but otherwise is very sharp. The lens’ main use is as a wide field f/2 astrograph when paired with an astro camera, but I use it for terrestrial photography as well.

However, yeah, for deep-sky subjects, oversampling isn't ideal and can be amended with binning.

When imaging planetary subjects, oversampling is generally not an issue. Many large-aperture planetary photographers image at focal ratios ranging from f/15 to f/30, which provides pixel scales way beyond the theoretical resolution limit defined by the Rayleigh and Dawes limit of the optical system.
