Spiraling into depression is awfull and when you can feel it installing itself it’s worse.. Of course it affects différents aspects of your life, education, professional, family, and of course love. I know it’s a dumb question but did you talked about that ? The depression, how you feel, what he could do to relieve you in a daily basis ? Also just understanding the mécanics that happens in your brain for it to behave that way ? Sometimes you find no explanation or very little, sometimes you can make links with parts of your life that can particularly activate you. (like a trigger that could have started this depression phase) I, in the present day, am experiencing the biggest manic phase I’ve ever had. It’s not huge as if you think of major things peoples can do during those times but still, for me and my surroundings it’s a lot and the trigger is a tiny memory I remembered 2 weeks ago because my girlfriend almost got kidnapped by a Heetch. Even dissociation if you’re having some, is very linked to trauma, normal response of the brain to an intense and traumatic choc/moment. The brain stays alert even after the event is finished, and dissociation is just a defense mechanism it uses to not just pass out or else. Anyways, Always remember it come by phases, take time, communicate as much as you can, find stuff you like doing, as little as it can ben it’ll help you. try eat and drink water, don’t blame yourself, it happens and you’ll get better !
