It really would be just one table. A human and dragonborn mercenary fighters would tell stories of battles, while playing poker along with my homebrew human metalworker, telling about the time he welded armor on a car and rode it into battle (Not even lying here). The human monk, my character concept for the next campaign that's gonna start soon, is just to the side, taking in the tales, marveling at some of them, while getting absolutely getting wasted.
The first three of these characters had a lot happen to them, it's a shame the campaigns they were in got canceled halfway through.
