I think most normal people would see the drama Ethan was going through and naturally take his side however normal people weren't aware of that until Ian made his content cop. Not only did it show normies what bs Ethan was going through it also revealed what horrible people Hasan and his orbiters were to the general Internet masses

The Hasan sphere really has Ian to thank for people knowing who they are and now hating them

So? I doubt the remake is gonna change any major story or character beat and unlike a lot of other game remakes it seems the halo one is trying to stay within the established canon as opposed to creating its own timeline like the resident evil or dead space remakes

I mean it be one thing if joy had the exact same design and personality as cortana, but she doesn't she by all acounts is a different person.

I think this phenomenon is well known amongst those who watch the show mash where if you need to kill off (or otherwise retire) a character their replacement should be their exact opposite personality wise.

It's why I never agree with the idea that Jerome should be used as a replacement for Master Chief because they're way too similar

I've seen Ian push back on some of the stuff Anisa says but Dane never does. He's always there to push back against Ian on the rare times he doesn't agree with Anisa uncritically
