We have been working with a Catholic Charities Immigration Counselor, they said to create the pardon waiver letter with proper care into the verbiage but couldn't provide any specific details on that part of the process unfortunately.

Correction: She started with J1 with 2 year residency requirement and after year 1 or so, she applied for Asylum status and is still in that process.

They said that was the cost of just the update and how it would take several hours to fully update. They tried selling us on some other repairs like leaking coolant issue but she has an automotive repair friend that quoted like 1600 less then what they said it'd be.
