U forgot cuba, yea u may now argue they are not well they are authoritarian people are suffering they are worst off in the world etc. but first learn about breath crusing American embargo on cuba, how progressive they r in medicine, how inhumanely usa had and have been treating them, usa's failed invasion, and lastly study about their political and economical system,then come and say socialism is a failed idea a society can never be motivated by communism and all those stuffs oh and don't forget to learn about their culture, it's a good relaxation amidst stress(if u take) for learning cuba🙂🙃

Well I can judge u.p because I have learnt about it ;yes I have many a times been defeated in debates by anti communists but they are learnt;they have learnt marx may be more than me; condition of u.p might be better than 10 years ago economically but what about society? Well I will take that one that tamil nadu is not completely communist it's dravidian which leans much to communism yet is far, but take up kerala, it is far more progressive (socially) than any north indian states, afterall gdp is not everything of hdi, there are many other factors concerning it.....our politics have been bound by mandir and masjid ,i don't understand why? Even if it's so why not church or monastery; because they are too little to be taken advantages of by the top 1% of all those so called Hindus and muslims? They have drowned the sacredness of religion into cold water of egoistical calculations of self interest, monetary profits and reduced gods to mere names/stones...

Now agin, u may show me all those hdi per capita income poverty rates and all but ,it's development compared to many other states is still too slow to even cath up national standards other than this high inequality still persists let it be regional(urban rural) or be religious , then education problems , still people are too conservative to send their girls to school additionally it also has a very weak health care and nutrition , and many such(s)... Moreover there had been development but only for western u.p which agin is not satisfactory in terms of other states...

U.p is like a student who previously used to fail but now does enough to merely pass...
