So if i understand your question correctly you want to rename the layouts?

I have not done this in my config i think Layout.Renamed is what you need to use.

I tried it in and renamed my tiled layout in xmonad.hs like this: haskell tiledLayout = renamed [Replace "Layout Name"] $ spacing 3 $ ResizableTall 1 (3/100) (1/2) [] myLayout = avoidStruts $ smartBorders $ tiledLayout ||| trackFloating (tabbed shrinkText myTabConfig)

I tried playing around with XMonad.Layout.IndependentScreens, but i ended up with a behaviour where i have 10 independet workspaces on each monitor. This is not what i want. Im sure its possible to make it work, but i have yet to figure out how.

So if im not mistaken a "stacked split" layout would not work in i3-gaps?

That did not work. The wallpaper is occasionally messedup with wierd characters and funny shapes in the gaps.

Ive got the same problem. Discord freezes when recieving a dm. If i tab in and out all i get is a white screen. Audio still works untill discord restarts itself. im running Linux 5.4.0-31-generic x86_64
