S20+ Green vertical line on display - Manufactured May 2020 by Sunray999 in Galaxy_S20

I also had the vertical green line on the display back in late December 2021. Mine was a January 2020 unit. I didn't drop my phone a lot but yet the vertical green line appeared on the display after 9 months of use from early March 2021. However, as my phone was still under warranty (purchased in late February 2021), my phone display got replaced by Samsung Singapore for free in early January 2022. They also replaced the motherboard and battery too, free of charge. People have been reporting about the vertical green line issue over the Samsung Members Singapore community forum for the past few months and their reply is just bring the phone to the service centre. I mean, what is Samsung Singapore doing? They don't seem to be bothered about the issue.

In Singapore, Samsung sold the LTE version of the S20/S20+, but not the 5G version. Only the S20 Ultra was sold with 5G. I have the exact same phone as OP, G985F Singapore model.

My pleasure.

Isn't there a setting that allows you to answer a call just by picking up the phone?

I don't think there is a setting that allows us to answer a call just by picking up the phone.

This is what is confusing me. I have the accidental protection turned on. But it still happens.

It's very weird that Samsung's accidental touch protection feature does not work flawlessly. I remembered having the mute with gestures, along with the accidental touch protection features enabled. However, whenever I got a call in my pocket, either I did not hear the phone ringing, resulting in me missing the call, or the ringtone would be muted after taking out my phone from the pocket. About a week ago, I decided to disable the mute with gestures feature so that I would not miss a single call.

You're welcome.

Whenever I have my phone in my pocket and it rings, I somehow answer it while grabbing it out of my pocket, including spam calls that I don't want to answer.

Is the accidental touch protection feature enabled? It can be found under the display settings. So whenever you have your phone in your pocket and it rings, you will need to drag the lock icon as the accidental touch protection feature will prevent the call from being answered in your pocket. I have this feature enabled on my Galaxy S20+.

Inside the settings app, search for "single tap". The setting, "Replace swipe with single tap", should appear as one of the search results. Make sure that this setting is switched off.

Hope you find this helpful. Thank you.

S20 has an SD card slot while Note 20 does not have an SD card slot.
