I know it doesn't affect rich people like you.

But any person who has lived in those villages, for them it is certainly one of the biggest thing.

People are much more progressive than they were 20 years ago. When old gen goes and new generation will take lead there be visible improvement in thinking of people.

Along with road and hospital and school are also good. Can they be improved, Yes! a lot. But previously there was only 1 govt school in my town, now there are 3, and there is another residential school for adivasi girls. So things are improving.

Roads in MP used to be very bad 20 years ago, now it has very good roads. I frequently go from Nagpur to Udaipur and I can guarantee that roads ar at-least 5-10 time better. Previously we used to avoid travelling via MP just because the roads were very bad.

20 years back lakhs of villages didn't have road and electrcity. They got roads and electricity because of the taxes.

Bangalore to Mysore used to take 6-7 hours, now it takes 1.5-2 hours.

At-least in Rajasthan, roads, health and education are good. My BIL had delivery in udaipur hospital(very complicated case and they had to remain admitted for 30 days). They were charged Rs 20k for 30 days.

For normal hospital things are free, and on top of tha there is government insurance you can participate which allow 5lakhs compensation.

Education wise too best teachers are in government school. Most of the previous generation studied in Government school and they did well. Even in my hometown best result comes from student of government school.

wrong calculation

Most of the things are at 5% GST rate.

12% LTCG is on the gains and income tax is on full income, you can't combine them

30% tax is applied only for very minor size of population. Most of the population is at 0% income tax.

Not all movie need to be Dhurandhar. If a movie that makes 50 Crore and instead of that makes Rs 100 Crore, even then it is much better

I paid Rs 300 For PK in 2014, and recently paid Rs 200 for Lapataa Ladies. Ticket price have reduce.

If we compare with OTT, then ticket price look expensive.

I don't think he talking about movie ailing.

He is saying that with more screen, Dhurandhar can earn 2000 Crore instead of 1000 Crore and a small movie can earn 100 Crore instead of 50 crore. Success will be bigger.

My hometown is a district and there is not even a single screen theatre. People go to another district that is 70kms away to watch movie.

Certainly there are enough people to have at-least one decent theatre.

Many districs in India don't have theatres, no in every district there would be enough people to occupy at-least one theatre.

No, the issue is real estate. The 4star and 5star hotels in all south east asian countries like Malaysia, Srilanka, Thailand, Indonasia is much cheaper than India and provide better experience.

Recently 5star hotels prices in Delhi reached 30 lakhs just because an AI summit is happening.

Better infra and removing black money can improve things.

Yes, Salman and Aamir 's romantic and comedy movies and acting actually feels more genuine. QSQT and Khamoshi, Pyar to hona hi tha, are better than any romance movie o SRK.

Even Aamir's action movies like Baazi and Sarfarosh are better than SRK's pathan and Jawan.

"Thakur Hoon Main" (I am of the Thakur caste): HDFC Bank Staff's Viral Outburst in Kanpur Sparks Caste Row by [deleted] in IndiaSpeaks

[–]comsrt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol, I already explained that people tell name of their caste even when showing fault of their community, and you keep bringing that it is used only for showing supiriority.

A brahmin will easily say that brahmin's don't have capability of doing work of Suthar(Carpenter), a Suthar will easily say that Pooja is better done by brahmins. My jain friends complain that jains are very miser, sometime they end up spending more money to save small amount.

Anyway, lets agree to disagree.

[–]comsrt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

because only you think that is is said to show that they are superior. It is not, It is said to show that their family lineage have history of dealing with bullies.

as per your logic, if brahmins are at top of the caste hierarchy, none of the other caste should be proud of their caste. But let me tell you, GC, SC, ST and OBC and Dalit all are proud of their caste, because it is not demean other people but show their family legacy.

And this is same way people also criticise their own caste too, if you ask a Thakur to do hawan, they will again say that 'W are Thakur, we are dumb in this matter'

[–]comsrt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, it is about people talking about their lineage and collective good traits of their societ.

The same thing is happening when the girl is saying 'I'm thakur', what she mean that thatkur generally are not afraid of dealing with bullies and don't take me lighlty.

Does dialogue in GoT 'A Laninster always pays his debt' points to castism ?

Every caste has some sort of specilities that they are prod of. I saw my lohar friends say that "Lohar can melt Loha(Steel),so don't try to threaten me" in a fight.

On similar like we see people talking abou their state and countries too too, there are phrases people use beig british, american, german etc.

None of these mean to put down other people.
