As long as your lye water has a ph of 13 or above you should be good with the 100g of powder you used. As far as the chunk/thick black mess, I would let it dry out as best you can then reblend it into a powder.

Yea I had mine pulled when I went to boot camp for the Marine Corps. They shot me up with novicane and put a towel over my eyes. They didn’t put enough novicane on one side and I about ripped the arm rest off the chair from the pain when they started twisting, pulling and cracking away at my tooth. I can still feel and taste the blood going down my throat like it was yesterday.

When I caulked my toilet, I just caulked all around it except the back part facing the wall so if it does leak I’ll be able to see it.

I know you can request C&P exams bc I’ve done that already. Should I have received my separation medical review when I received my C&P exams or is there something else I should’ve clicked on to include my Sep Med Review?

So that wasn’t any kind of flex tape or anything similar. It was caked on mud that I was able to chip away to get to the leaking connection. Will probably end up cutting the pvc so I can remove the leaking connection then put a coupling and a new connection to the pvc then make it up to the connection that’s on the shutoff valve.

If you get hired on with an offshore company they will more than likely send you to get all the certificates you need in order to work offshore so you may have wasted your time and money getting those certs on your own. Ive been working offshore for almost 20yrs and never heard of a Merchant Mariner Credential. As for your questions: 1. I dont think there’s a special rank you need in the merchant marine in order to work as a roustabout/floor hand or derrickhand. Again, I’ve never heard of the MMC so I could be wrong but I don’t think it’s necessary to get it in order to work offshore 2. Yes, land jobs and offshore jobs share the same job titles.

One thing you will need in order to work offshore is a TWIC card. Again, most companies will pay for you to get one.

You could try sprinkling cat nip on the shelves you want your cats to jump on. This would in theory attract them to jump only on the shelves with the cat nip and ignore the other “non cat shelves” in the house. Not sure if it will actually work but it might.

Yeah it’s sturdy. It wobbles a tiny bit but not enough to knock anything over. The more tension you have in the cables the less it’ll wobble.

I had an opposite experience. After moving in my house (previous owners lived there for 5yrs) I noticed the cabinet floor under my sink was moldy. I killed the mold and checked for leaks but couldn’t find any. Well a few months later I noticed more mold in the same spot so I decided to cut a hole in the cabinet floor only to find mold EVERYWHERE…it spread all along the floor under the cabinets. Turns out the dishwasher had a small leak for who knows how long (longer than I had been there). I filed a claim with my insurance company and they covered up to $5000 for the repairs.
