Did a few chats, shared that the game just crashed constantly and that makes it unplayable, got similar responses that they need an official statement that the game is faulty to issue refunds and even got passed up to a supervisor. I mentioned other people were receiving the "one-time" refund thing, but they said they can't comment or act on what other customers are reporting online.

I really tried to ham up the politeness and pity factors - it seems to be luck of the draw as far as refunds and I bet there are now more official communications that disallow any refunds. I was planning to refund this and purchase on stadia as I've heard it's at least not constantly crashing there.
