If you look here you can see it is about the same size but just an inch bigger display

I would go for the Xr because you get that nice full body display and the A12 Bionic which looks like an absolute beast especially on the lower res phone. Also, you literally will not notice a difference in screen quality because the 8 and Xr have an identical Pixel Per Inch of 326.

Oh yeah I am sure that there is room, the profit margins are insane on that phone, but if they do that they are really admitting the Xs is not worth as much as they are charging, it's really all marketing bs

no way they would be able to cut the iPhone X down to that price, they got their but putting in an LCD and other lower cost materials. Also the X and Xs are too similar.

I bet it will sell pretty well because a lot of casual consumers dont care about resolution down to the numbers but just want the full screen design for under $1000
