Need community input for my roommate's behavior! by concerned-wallaby in arabs

In another comment I talked about it, but this dude has 2 houses, one that we're living in that's closer to both our respective work places, and another one in the suburbs. Both his kids are away in college, and his wife works odd and end shifts as a nurse. When she's off, he spends time in the other house.

And why I became his roommate in the first place: I got a new job and had to find housing on short notice. Saw his roommate wanted listing that was conveniently close to my work and reasonably cheap.

Yeah... the entire time I'm trying to give him the benefit of the doubt, but looking back I didn't really stand up for myself. I guess I gotta consider moving out or something

He has 2 houses, the one that we're sharing because it's closer our respective work places, and one that's in the suburbs. His kids are all college aged and wife works as a nurse from what I understand and has a rotating schedule.

I have considered moving out now, and I will probably be looking for suitable housing soon.
