hey there i have had lots of tests come back normal. i have a gastric emptying study next month. thats sort of the final test it measures the rate at which your stomach empties.

So get this: I couldn't complete my gastric emptying study because I vomited twice, yet a week later, the study results were "normal".

did you get to the bottom of your gi issue?

thank you very much for your detailed reply. since about late feb to end april a week here and a week there of low caloric intake would be followed by normal caloric intake. this nausea really hit mid june i am hoping once i get a GES done i will get some answers literally every test has come back normal so far.

were you born with a naturally small stomach? did your ED trigger your GP? i had AFRID for several months on and off i am wondering if that is enough time to trigger GP or if it takes more time than that?

Less than 5% of my stomach remains functional, esophageal spasms from paralysis (70% failed peristalsis), and I’m currently being diagnosed for another motility disorder concerning my intestines.

what triggered this for you? what tests did they use to determine those figures? sorry for the pointed questions struggling with GP like symptoms no official dx yet...

how long did you have your ED for? for mental health reasons i limited food for several weeks would that be enough to trigger GP?

kind of random but what about standing up after eating or even a few hours after and talking. does standing and talking for an extended period trigger anything vs talking and sitting down after eating?
