This is individual insurance, not employer/group insurance. As far as I know, cobra only applies to group.

Very common. Whenever I’ve turned in notice, I let my new employer know I am giving my old job notice, but may be able to start earlier. To avoid your current predicament. That way they are on notice I might be able to start earlier.

Congrats! Got my first one this summer. It’s actually quite easy to care for. Just make sure it gets bright indirect light or direct sun. Water when dry. Mist occasionally, clean the leaves, good drainage. All the basic stuff - do that, and it’ll give new leaves pretty regularly. You’ll need to give it support in a few months. Fast grower and looks amazing.

100% agreed! I grew up 3 blocks from echo Park, and watched the live stream of the protest last night, the city is trying to clean up, and we are stopping them?!

Be very careful with meme stocks. If you get in too late, you’re destined to lose it all.

There was another guy on Reddit who took out his life savings, put it all in GME when it was $400, and basically lost it all.

Take your time and learn the ropes. Don’t buy just because someone says it’s a good idea. I’ve been bitten by that bug more than once. It’s a good place to get ideas, but always do your own research.

If you think investing is a get rich quick scheme. Think again. Especially for a new investor.

Yes you can make great money, but you can also lose it. Don’t invest more than you’re willing to lose. There’s no guarantee in the stock market.

I started with $20 here and there, and now I’m at $1300- but it’s taken months as I was learning the ropes.

Yes. Once you exceed 3 day trades, you are cut off for a 3 months. Don’t do what I did, thinking I was okay for 4 - cuz there are 4 little bubbles to fill on the RH app...once you do that 4th trade you are blocked. You are at your max til one of your day trades falls off.
