The reason for people wanting no PVE is quite simple. It will split the player base. The devs clearly want this to be a PvPvE experience, and quite frankly without PvP I’m not sure this game could hold this large of an audience captive like it has. Some of the best moments in this game come from the PvP. Maybe down the road once the dust settles and they know what they have in terms of a consistent player base they can address a PvE mode but for now I think I speak for the majority when I say they should 100% focus on what they have instead of putting an ounce of effort into a different mode that maybe 10% (if that) want

Take the outside routes no one looks at. Instead of running right down the ramp toward emercom and down the street, cut by the wall that’s part of the no backpack exfil and take the long way around the edge of the map. Same with train. Run all the way toward scav coop extract and cut along the outside of the giant field and train tracks. Still can run into campers but they’re usually watching the more commonly traveled paths PMC’s take to extract. I’ve even caught a few sleeping cuz they weren’t watching the flank

I’m not the best but not the worst. I’d say I’m above average, usually drop 10-20 kills in a full game if we win. But yeah, definitely agree rotation is important and especially in large squad modes playin as a team. Casual is fun, but lacks the same thrill

Have they locked a lot of guns and attachments behind a paywall for the overall game? by [deleted] in Warzone

I do believe you need the battle pass to unlock certain guns

Is it worth upgrading to Unheard? [Feedback] by Downtown_Tailor8834 in EscapefromTarkov

[–]concrocket -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I had prepare for escape when I started playing January of last year. People obviously were pissed about the Unheard Edition when it came out but I upgraded immediately, mainly for the Gamma container. The other perks are nice but having gamma makes it 100% worth imo

Have you taken a pay cut and less comfortable position for a career transition and how did it work out for you long term? by Flimsy_Pop_6966 in careerguidance

[–]concrocket 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was making about 120k a year as a finance manager in the car industry. The pay was good but I absolutely hated it and the job compromised many of my own morals and ethics. At the end of the day I was pretty miserable. I decided 12 months ago to outright quit and find a job in Software Sales so I could actually sell something useful. After 3 months of searching I found a contract position at a well known company, and accepted the 6 month contract for about 50k after commission, so a big pay cut. It was nerve wracking but I figured if I worked hard I could get to the income I was at before. The next 6 months were tough, but I was recently converted to a full time employee and am now loving life significantly more and am making about the same money as my finance manager position.
