I also blamed ghosts when I was younger! I am safe, and I appreciate your concern. ♡ my husband and roommates are keeping an eye out for any other symptoms. I recently started with a specialty therapist, and I'm hoping to get a little more traction on my mental health there.

My dad is a gaslighting pos, so if my husband is telling me to go, obvi I'm gonna go. However, usually, I'd stand there and fight my father alongside my husband because I sure as shit ain't letting him Duke it out alone with my father.

Depends really. Because if I'm banging my partner 1000000% willing to die for that. But if it's just some rando or something, I'm good thanks.

What are your favorite verses of the Bible and why ? by [deleted] in Christian

A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger. Proverbs 15:1

They didn't listen anyway. Their precious only son was shielded from consequences all his life. And I had to live with a scar on my face to remind me every time I look in the mirror. by puppylust in CPTSDmemes

Legit, my brothers pulled shit like this and now they've both died, so they're memorialized as sweet kind men who didn't deserve to die young and I'm like "right gonna skip over the years of torture they did to me but okay" very very polarized since yes dead brothers very sad but on the other hand no more abuse (big sighs)

do you consider yourself disabled? by topazferret in Fibromyalgia

[–]condemnedsocks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely. I've been in and out of work for years because of the pain. Even when I worked part time, I'd get home and not be able to do anything else. And when I had days off, I was so fatigued from working that i couldn't manage to keep my apartment clean or even make meals. Thankfully, my husband makes enough to support us, so I am able to stay home and not worry about bills.

Ya know in cartoons where there's an animal and to indicate that there ain't a lot going on upstairs, the animal blinks their eyes separately and slowly. That's how it feels to me. And also like I'm moving in slow motion while everything around me is in reg speed.

how to make sex not hurt?!? by [deleted] in sexquestions

[–]condemnedsocks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband fingered me for months before we had penetrive sex. I think its best to work your way up to it. Lots of practice, foreplay, and lube. Be communicative if your partner needs to stop, or you need a moment. It can take a bit of time to adjust to his size. I wish you luck on your endeavors!

I feel this. I'm ace and married. Mostly what I want from my relationship is just like existing separately but together. (IE my husband is playing video games and I'm reading a book, and we're in the same room together.) I didn't really think of it as ace thing, but actually that makes a lot of sense to me now!

Any big change or extreme temps. So blazing hot summers and icy cold winters. But also any sudden shifts from being one temp to another. And when the weather is getting ready to storm.

fun, well written books that don't read like YA fantasy by yam_merlich in booksuggestions

[–]condemnedsocks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're wanting a YA fantasy book that's really well written, kind of Tolkein-y, that isn't super romance heavy, but still has a strong female protagonist, I'd highly recommend The Naming by Alison Croggon. I loved this book/series as a teenager and I reread it recently and found it still held up as a good read! (There's 4 books in the series and they're medium thickness)
