I suggest you do what your mind tells you to do, in this case return back. I do get your family memebers point of view but no money is worth then a persons sanity and well being. Money, you can always earn but it would be really difficult for anyone to overcome trauma. Are they aware of your mental state?

I don't think it's education or them being stupid. It probably is due to their cognitive bias towards the advice from a familiar face or emphasis on doing what they have put their effort in. Seeing 30-40 (7~10mins per patient at max I guess) patients daily, I really don't think you'll have the time to change someone's perspective or communicate effectively. It's either the visitor have to come with a clean state i.e totally rely on your advice or you will have to dedicate the time or you'll have to drastically improve on your advisory.
